Get independent IEP information

The Federation for Children with Special Needs offers free individual assistance with special education questions and parent training. Follow its link for current contact options.

Learn about educational rights and complaints

The Massachusetts DESE Problem Resolution System (PRS) provides information about educational rights and options, including its complaint process.

Parent connections are for peer support, not legal advice or emergency response. For legal advice about your situation, consult a qualified attorney. Keep your first message brief; avoid attaching IEPs, evaluations, or other sensitive student records until you have confirmed who should receive them and how.

Riverside Family Support Center
Family navigation, workshops, enrichment, and transition support in Burlington. Navigation can help families who are DDS eligible or applying; flexible funding requires DDS eligibility and prior DDS approval. Call 978-655-3801.
